US strikes another boat off Venezuela coast, killing four
The US military has carried out another strike in the Caribbean, targeting what officials describe as a “Narco-Trafficking” vessel off the coast of Venezuela.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed in a social media post that all four people on board were killed in Friday morning’s attack.
It’s the fourth such strike since September, as Washington ramps up operations against drug cartels that the US has recently labelled terrorist organizations.
Hegseth said the strike was ordered by President Donald Trump and described it as a lethal kinetic strike carried out under the US southern command.
