Beckles’ slate sweeps PNM internal elections.

Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles has secured a clear mandate in the People’s National Movement’s 2025 internal election.

Beckles, who was unopposed for the post of Political Leader, led a team that dominated voting across all 41 constituencies on Sunday. Preliminary results released by the Elections Supervisory Committee confirmed that over 7,000 members participated in the election, with ballot counting continuing into the early hours of Monday morning.

Public Relations Officer – Faris Al-Rawi

Social Media Officer – Symon De Nobriga

Elections Officer – Indar Parasram

Field Officer – Curtis Shade

Welfare Officer – Maxine Richards

Youth Officer – Kareem Marcelle

Operations Officer – Irene Hinds

Labour Relations Officer – Kenneth Deoraj

The Elections Supervisory Committee has pledged to release the final certified results after verifying all statements of poll.
