HAPPY EMANCIPATION TO EVERY BROTHER, SISTER AND FORE-PARENTS WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE US.
We all must move the lever further away and higher from just being emancipated and become truly liberated. As now is the time more than ever for us to take our destiny into our own hands and strategize for a much better and brighter future. We need leaders who understand our plight as a people and who is willing to help move us along.
Two of the immediate goals that we need to make great progress on includes reparations and having direct travel to our motherland, especially non-stop flights from the Caribbean.
We can request direct and less expensive air-travel from Caribbean Airlines which can depart from Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados and Grenada.
We must do everything possible to attempt to have these flights started by November 2022 or for the latest March 2022. But we must start now by talking among ourselves and writing our leaders on this said goal.
Let’s be fully liberated now and move the goal post in our favor.
Emancipation is a national holiday in Trinidad & Tobago and celebrated every year on August 1.
