Jamaica’s Senior Detective Answers Drug Charges.

A detective inspector answers drug charges in court on Wednesday January 14th’ 2026, after cocaine weighing over 5.8 kilograms was reportedly found, in his possession.

He is 51-year-old Martin Walker of the Constabulary’s Counterterrorism and Organized Crime Branch.

Reports are that on Thursday January 8th, 2026, at around 7:10 p.m., personnel from the firearms and narcotics investigation division intercepted Walker, at a business establishment in Kingston.

Officer Walker’s vehicle was searched and police say, a plastic bag containing the cocaine was found.

It has an estimated street value of $3.5 million Jamaican dollars.
