Small boats in the Caribbean region and Venezuela continue to be a focus point in Trumps alleged war against drugs.

President Donald Trump has continued to authorize US military strikes on small vessels in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean since September 2025, which his administration claims are being used by “narco-terrorists” to smuggle drugs into the United States.

Since the campaign began in September 2025, the U.S. military has conducted more than 20 lethal strikes, resulting in at least 95 deaths.

These actions have sparked significant controversy and debate over their legality and effectiveness.
