Hong Kong high-Rise Apartment Buildings Fire Ends Deadly

On Wednesday (11/26/25) at least 13 people died and dozens of others were injured as a massive fire engulfed a residential apartment high-rise complex in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district.

The residential complex comprised of 2000 apartments with over 5000 residences.  

The fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po at 2:51 pm on Wednesday, according to a statement from the Hong Kong government.

As of Friday November 29th, 2025, the death toll has risen to 128 and counting as approximately 200 people remains unaccounted.
