Guyana’s President promises more benefits for the people from booming economy
President Irfaan Ali of Guyana has promised that the people of Guyana, which is the fastest growing economy in the world, will be able to benefit from more economic activities as the economy continues to grow.
As an example, he said they will be able to co-invest in national projects as part of his government’s commitment to achieving “shared prosperity.”
In that regard, he highlighted the fertilizer factory, being constructed in region three as one of the projects in which they may invest.
The Guyanese economy ballooned by 43 per cent last year and is projected to grow by 14 per cent this year.
