TNT RELAY TEAMS Qualify For The Olympics

Trinidad and Tobago’s women’s 4x100m relay team and men’s 4x400m team have qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The national women’s team of Taeja Badal, Reece Webster, Reyare Thomas, and Leah Bertrand clocked 43.54 seconds at the IAAF World Relays in the Bahamas to finish second on Heat 2 in the second round of Olympic qualifying.

The men’s 4x400m team of Asa Guevara, Jereem Richards, Che Lara, and Shakeem McKay were second in three minutes, 2.49 seconds, and clinched qualification.

However, the Trinidad and Tobago men’s 4x100m relay team did not finish their heat and did not qualify.

In the invitational segment of the meet, the T&T boys 4x100m relay team took gold in 40.42 seconds.

Che Wickham, Mahkil Byer, Dylan Woodroof, and Kadeem Chinapoo comprised the TT boys relay team.
