Pierre starts well in US Open Cricket
Khary Pierre’s fine all-round performance could not prevent his Titans Cricket Club team from losing to the SAMP Army by nine runs in the US Open Cricket 2021 tournament.
The West Indies and Trinidad and Tobago player Pierre hit 23 not out, while fellow T&T players Pierre, Navin Stewart (14 not out), and Kjorn Ottley (5) contributed to the Titans’ score of 105/5 in 15 overs.
Pierre then took 1/2 off 18 balls as the SAMP Army chased a revised target of 90/4 in 12 overs.
Antiguan Rahkeem Cornwall got 15 for SAMP Army, while Steward had 0/27 in five overs, and Rayad Emrit 0/11 in one over.
In the other game played on the day, the Florida Scorpions beat the Clarion Country Eagles by eight wickets.
